Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By using Payments DB, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. These Terms are between you and Pretzel AI GmbH.
2. The Service
Payments DB creates a copy of your Stripe data in a PostgreSQL database that you can query. Your original data stays safe in Stripe — we only read from Stripe, never write to it.
3. Your Responsibilities
You need a Stripe account, must be 18+, and agree to use the service lawfully. Keep your credentials secure — you're responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Payment
Fees are prepaid and non-refundable. We may change pricing with 30 days notice. You can cancel anytime and keep access until your billing period ends.
5. Third Parties
We use Supabase to host your database. By using our service, you also agree to Supabase's Terms and Privacy Policy. We're not responsible for third-party services. Since your data is a copy, any issues don't affect your original Stripe data.
6. Rules
Use the service lawfully. Don't try to break it, hack it, or resell it.
7. Availability
We aim for reliability but can't guarantee the service will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features at any time.
8. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime. We may terminate access for violations or non-payment. When your service ends, your database is deleted.
9. No Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DON'T GUARANTEE THE SERVICE WILL BE AVAILABLE, ACCURATE, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. YOU USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE LESSER OF: (A) WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 3 MONTHS, OR (B) €50.
SINCE YOUR DATA IS A COPY OF YOUR STRIPE DATA, DATA LOSS HERE DOESN'T AFFECT YOUR ORIGINAL DATA. YOU CAN ALWAYS RE-SYNC FROM STRIPE.
11. Indemnification
You agree to hold us harmless from any claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use means you accept the changes.
13. Legal
German law applies. Disputes go to Berlin courts. EU consumers may use their local courts.
